My Camino family at this stage is Ursula from Germany, Sharon from Malta, Jess from Kentucky and a few others from all over the world, including Victor from Brazil who I had thought was far far ahead of me. While we mostly walk alone we occasionally walk together for short distances and meet here and there at bars for coffee or lunch. By the way, a bar is any small restaurant. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner so it is the only place to stop for a break.
The weather has broken and its been so nice that I've been in shorts and a tank top. Hard to believe that a week ago there were reports of snow falling in these mountains and I was buying a long sleeve shirt because I was tired of freezing. At mid day its around 80°. I'm finally getting a tan besides my hands and face. I've felt like two people until now, lol. My feet are white and my hands are brown. I laugh every time I grease up my feet in the morning.
Tomorrow its up O'Cebrero, the last big mountain. I'm making it a short day, climbing up and stopping a bit after making it to the top.
Check out the picture of me with my hand on the the castle. I'm actually touching a real castle! How cool is that!
Glad you're doing better. You're more than half way there. Soon you'll be meeting Cassie and spend some Mom and Daughter time. Hope things continue to go well. Everything ok here. Finally got the lights put up in the kitchen, and went to pick out the new counter tops. Things are beginning to fall into place. Can't wait til it's done!!Can hardly wait to see you. Miss you!! Love ya! HUGS!! MOM
