Halfway there

Tomorrow I will pass the halfway mark. Seems unreal in a way. I'm still wearing my sandals to walk today because my feet just aren't ready for the boots.

Its been warm and flat the past few days. I've been walking with Stephanie, an Anglican priest on sabbatical. We discuss ministry and family and its been so relaxing. I'm sitting in the sun out in a courtyard today listening to all the various languages swirling around me. Its so beautiful to listen to.

Pray for a rash I've acquired on my neck. I think its from a head covering I bought this morning. Leave it to me to react to something.

Here are some pictures of our day and the last few villages.

  1. Hello Kim!
I made it home to Germany and finally got onto the internet to get in touch with my two other "angels".
It's wonderful to hear that you are doing great and having a good time. I know that you will make it to the end (with or without sandals ;-)
I still miss you and Bet, and the walking. Even with all the pain, it was the best thing ever.
Will follow your blog ... and will mentally cheer you up the mountains to come (bloody uphills ...).
    Kiss Marion
