Oberon -day 4

Tonight I lay in a bunk listening to church bells ringing off the hour. It was a good day but another difficult one. Back up and down a mountain, just us three girls Betzabe, Marion and me. Dave and Alexander stayed in Pamplona because Alexander's knee was swollen. That's the way of the Camino. You walk with people for a few days then part ways, maybe to meet again later. Alex is only 24 and the youngest of the group so its interesting that he was the one who got injured first.

Us girls traveled 26 km today. It was painful. We have concluded that the music of the Camino is a chorus of grunts, groans and ouches. My hips, calves, and shoulders have been in so much pain. My feet are sore but not too bad. No blisters so far.

We had a wonderful pilgrim dinner with two Danish ladies. What a fun time! We laughed so hard at all the stories we shared. Sometimes laughter is the best medicine.

Pictures of this day coming later...
