Navarette

Today we didn't go as far as we'd liked. My Achilles tendon combined with rain and cold stopped us in Navarette, not far from Logrono. I've seen a pharmacist and with rest and antiinflammatory cream and soaking the foot in salt water, it will heal. We napped and went to the store for things to make our own dinner. The albergue we are at has a complete kitchen and it feels so good to cook! I found some cayenne (which I'm going to carry with me) and we had a meal with a kick for a change. Betz, being from Mexico, thought it was mild and Marion, from Germany, thought it borderline so I guess I got it right. Neither was disappointed.
