What a rough couple of days. Everyone says the first few are hard. Oh boy!!! Hiking over the mountains was so hard. One more day and then it will be flat. We are going to try to make this a short day to give our bodies rest.
I've met people from all over the world. One of the most interesting is Dave. He is doing this on crutches because he is disabled from an accident. Inspiring to say the least.
Last night we stayed in a new albergue run by nuns. It was so amazing! We had a service after dinner and it touched everyone.

Awesome pictures, Kim! Been thinking of you! I love southern France. I spent a summer in Arcachon (near Bordeaux), and have trained through Bayonne, Biarritz, and St. Jean de Luz. San Sebastien, Spain is one of my favorite places on earth. Soak it all in.
